The Sassy MoFoS: Reviews

Wow. This is the worst, lame-assed, lounge-music, cock rock, trying-to-be-funny-and-ironic-and-failing-miserably album I've ever heard. This does not belong at MohawkRadio.com, and I'd be amazed if it belonged anywhere except the background music of some shitty New Jersey strip joint. This CD is jam-packed with annoying songs like "Lovin' a Crack Whore Shore Ain't Easy" (note the misspell) and "I'm Making a Doo-Doo Now". Any chance of this being a good cd are wiped out as soon as the first obnoxious guitar riff and line of vocals hit your ears. The CD cover looks as though it was drawn by a drunk 4th grader. This album is as far away from anything remotely punk as anyone could ever imagine. I gotta hand it to these guys though, it takes a lot of effort to suck this bad. Maybe it's some slick new marketing idea, releasing a really horrid album to at least have people talking about your band, or maybe it's just their style. Either way, these songs would make anyone I know want to cut their own ears off with garden shears. Stay Away. Far Away. 2 out of 10, because only 80% of me wanted to run screaming from my cd player to warn the rest of humanity.
The Sassy Mofos can be reached at www.thesassymofos.com, but don't say I didn't warn you.

REVIEW OF "I WON'T BE DICK CHENEY'S BITCH"
You just rocked this Punk!!!
I hate that motherfucker!!!! I love this song!!! You guys have some good lyrics, very funny. You play fast and to the point, and I like that. This is truly punk for people that like punk. I look forward to hearing another of your masterpieces, so I guess I am going to have to sign up for that fanlist of yours. Keep on rockin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Swedish Chef Goes Punk!
This song is a bit odd - the vocals and the band sound like they are in different rooms. The vocals have a thick accent which I can best put at North European. The vocals are doubled throughout much of the song by what sounds like different singers. The music itself is standard garage punk with cool riffage, but it's buried way down in the mix. A touch of better production would give this song the attention it deserves.

Not bad
Am I wrong in saying this reminded me of the New York Dolls ? Though at times the singer sounded like a spazzed out Lux Interior. The whole song had a very urgent feel about it and was over as soon as it started. Slight Stooges feel to the whole affair. Was it any good ? Yeah, I reckon so.

Awful vocals
The music is really tight, and the drummer is really solid - but what the hell are these vocals? This should really be under comedy or something because it's not punk rock at all. These vocals are hilariously awful and sound like something I'd do while extremely intoxicated. It's too bad that wasted musicianship is being drown out by two of the most truly awful voices I've heard in a long time.
